MARK HANIFAN
Mark was born in 1968 at St. Mary's Hospital in Reno. He grew up in Carson City and Gardnerville and graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a degree in Civil Engineering. After working in this field for a few years, Mark applied to the Diocese of Reno to study for the priesthood in March 2000. He began his studies in philosophy, also known as Pretheology, in August of that year. Mark is in his third year of theology at St. Patrick's Seminary, after completing a pastoral year at Our Lady of the Snows in Reno.
